It’s been a hectic but rewarding week, time seems to be flying by which I’m putting down to having so much fun. The more time I spend in and around our stores or talking to our people the more I get excited about our potential.
Last week was all about presenting my first thoughts on the business to the owners and getting an in principle agreement on some of the things that I want to do with the business, I also spent some time working with our group managers.
We I made my first two appointments, both of them I’m certain will make a big contribution to our future success and whilst I don’t plan to hire a cats of thousands a few more key individuals will be joining us in the coming months.
I’m back in Cheshire with my family and looking forward to spending some time with them, sadly it looks like it’s going to rain this weekend so it’s going to be indoor activities for us.
