On the road

It’s 3:15 am as I write this post, I’m getting ready to drive down to London to start my week.
Monday tends to be my one to one day with my team, we also have our office team brief which I find is a great way to start the week as it gives the office team a chance to update each other on what they are working in and gives me the chance to go through any news with them.

My day usual ends with the group managers coming together to go through the numbers, today will be slightly different as we have work to do on the first draft of the business plan.

I’ve spent part of my weekend transforming my original discussion document into the basis of a plan and have set myself the next board meeting as a deadline to have a first draft complete which is ambitious but achievable.

Right, time to sign off, it’s raining so I suspect that the trip down is not going to be fun!
