The tube strike really wasn’t much fun, despite the nice weather our sales were effected as people struggled to get into work and to get around London, there wasn’t a cab to be found, people were fighting over Boris bikes and the buses were packed. We had a couple of issues to deal with which meant that I had to walk for miles around London, this was much needed excercise but very time consuming.
We had a great visit to one of our key suppliers and were given a lot to think about in terms of our new launches.
Next week is going to be an important week as our operations manager starts with us, she’s going to be training for a number of weeks before going live and I am certain that she will make a huge difference to the business.
