Every 6 weeks or so I spend a day working as a team member in one of our stores so today I’m going to be in our London Wall store. I enjoy doing this as it gives me a chance to get to know the store team better and gives me an insiders view on how the store is running and how some of my team’s new initiatives are bedding in. It’s important to me me that I keep close to our stores, our staff and our customers and I cannot think of a better way of doing this than actually working alongside our store teams.
The rest of the team each have a “buddy” store which they visit every quarter as I want all of my team to really understand what goes on in our stores.
After a rain soaked Friday yesterday was a much better day both weather and business wise so I have my fingers crossed for some sun!
