Last week was not a great week for sales as Friday’s downpour left us playing catchup all week. The summer is a tricky month as there are fewer people about and unless the weather is warm and sunny business is slow.
I’m spending the morning in one of our stores in the city as I have a catch up with our operations manager and then meeting with the firm that builds our shops.
Finally, I’m looking forward to next week as our new head of training starts his induction process, this is the last piece of the jigsaw in terms of building a team capable of growing the business. I’ve often written about investing in people as they are any businesses biggest asset and having an experienced trainer on board will help us to do this.
