Today is not going to be a fun day, getting across London is going to be a nightmare and businesses across the city will suffer. I’m not fully aware of all the ins and outs of the current dispute, what I do know is that it’s one of many and that both sides of the dispute bare some responsibility for this mess. What many people don’t know is that large parts of the London Underground are designed to run with driverless trains and I wonder how long it will be before these are introduced across the system.
Anyway, this morning I’m visiting some shops before getting on with some other work, this afternoon is taken up by our food meeting where we will be seeing and signing off our autumn range. I’m looking forward to this as it’s the culmination of months of work by our head of food, we are also going to see the first set of visuals to accompany the range.
