Yesterday’s tube strike was not good for business, predictably there was a degree of chaos on the streets as people struggled into work. We had a poor day across all of our shops and to be honest businesses across London will be hoping that Boris sorts this mess out.
Other than the tube strike I had a good day yesterday, our head of food did an amazing job presenting our new autumn range and we are close to sign off. I would love to give you a hint as to what’s on its way to tempt your taste buds but I can’t! What I will say is we are going to have some fantastic new ingredients which I’m sure that our customers will love.
I am in shops this morning and also have some meetings back at the office before heading back up to Cheshire.
