Yesterday was a funny old day and sort of day which everyone occasionally has to contend with. Nothing terrible happened, it was more a matter of a number of frustrating events which built up throughout the day. To top it all off I arrived at my op hotel to find that they had allocated me a room you literally could not swing a cat in! Given that it was 9:30pm when I arrived and I had woken up at 3am I didn’t have the energy to complain.
I’m out and about in stores today and looking forward to spending time with some of our managers, at the moment I am trying to spend as much time as I can out in our stores and spending as little time as possible in our office. We are a small business and there is no reason why the MD should not be visible in the business.
