I’m spending most of my day out in shops today visiting some of our managers and teams, Wedneday is also the day that I have my one to one with our head of operations.
This afternoon I’m holding my first “listening group” which brings together team members from across our business who will hopefully tell me what they think we should stop, start and continue doing. I’m really looking forward to the session as it gives me the opportunity to see how people are feeling a out life at Vital. Session like this, combined with back to the floor days are great ways for any leader to keep I touch with what’s going on within their business, it’s an opportunity to get to know the people who face our customers each.
The summer is almost over although in fairness it’s never actually got going in London with most days being cloudy and overcast which is hardly ideal weather for selling salads, here at Vital we all have our fingers crossed that the weather will improve.
