The day after

I was awake most of the night as like many people I was following the tragic events in Paris as they unfolded. Paris is one of my favourite cities and I have made many trips there, in fact I “popped the question” to my wife in a wonderful hotel in Versailles so it’s also a city which holds many wonderful memories for me. This makes the tragic events which took place yesterday resonate with me. I cannot begin to describe the revulsion that I felt and still feel at what has happened, my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Paris.
