After a lovely weekend spent with family I’m up at this ridiculously early time to catch the train back down to London. I’m taking the slow train down which means I have around 3 hours to get some work done before I get to the office, this is still far quicker than travelling by car. I’d managed to lose the ticket for this trip and had to purchase another one which seems beyond silly as I purchased it from the Virgin website (I have an account) so it’s easy to prove how and when I bought my original ticket, this whole thing sounds like a bit of a money making ruse but I have writing to their customer service department so let’s see if they take pity on me!
The London weather forecast for this week seems ok, mainly dry and relatively mild which will help our sales, to be fair we deserve some luck with the weather after a summer which was largely a washout and which was accompanied by tube strikes.
