Despite the rather awful weather we had a nice weekend at Alton Towers, the hotel was better than expected as was the quality of food served at dinner. The kids had a lovely day as they tried a variety of rides prior to a visit to Santa and and evening at the panto. If you are looking to do something special with young kids for Christmas at a reasonable price then Alton Towers is worth considering.
I have a day off today and after we have finished at Alton Towers I am driving back down to London ready to start my week tomorrow.
We have a tricky couple of weeks as we look to close down the business ahead of the Christmas break and we need to pay special attention to staffing and ordering levels as we don’t want too much wastage.
