I have a busy weekend coming up as I am taking some time to update our 2016 plan and review our strategic imperatives for the coming months. This task is easier than it was when I first started as I have a much broader knowledge of the business and a greater understanding of what is required to keep us progressing.
Looking back at 2015 I’m proud of what the Vital team has achieved, what I am proudest of us the transformation in culture (which is not yet complete) where we now have much improved employee engagement and ownership, people are here because they want to be and not because they have nowhere else to go. If I have to pick one thing that the team achieved above all else it’s been the work done on people development, our people are learning new things, earning more money and working the hours they need to live their lives and most importantly many of the are starting to see that they have a future with Vital.
