Update

Up bright and early to catch the train back to London, my holiday effectively ends here as I plan to spend the next couple of days working. I have to finalise both manager and team member bonus proposals, catch up on some reading and update this years business plan, the outline is already written it’s just a case of updating it having reviewed our strategic imperatives and then putting it out for consultation.

Unusually I will be taking the Virgin train down as it’s quite cheap on a Saturday, normally I head back on a Monday morning and taken the London Midland line as it costs a fraction of what the Virgin service does and whilst it takes double the time that not a big deal as it gives me valuable admin time.
