I am up bright and early and looking forward to spending a chunk of the day visiting stores, it’s been a while since I have been out there doing this and I’m looking forward to it. I’m hoping to hit most of our stores in the West End today before heading back to the office to do some more work on my 2016 business plan, as I mentioned previously this is an update of the plan that was pulled together during the summer of last year and I’m finding it a useful exercise to review and update our plans.
One key peice of work which has been ongoing for a while is the pulling together of a brand standards review, this is not an audit but more of a coaching session which will be carried out by our head of training and will be a key tool in helping to drive profitable sales through a focus on brand standards, speed of service and compliance. Whilst we have a moral and legal obligation to keep our stores clean and safe our focus will be very much on driving profitable sales. We start our coaching visits this quarter head of a full launch in quarter 2.
