The announcement of further tube strikes was greated with some dismay in our office as they will have a direct monetary impact on our business as people will leave early the day before the network shuts down and then either work from home on the day itself or spend most of the day trying to get somewhere. Obviously it not just our business that will be hit but pretty much everyone in London.
I’m not going to get into the rights and wrongs of the dispute as this is not what my blog is about, what I will say is that an awful lot of people will be badly affected by this. Let’s try and get this sorted sooner rather than later.
Whilst I’m on my soap box I want to note just how crowded my train is this (and every) morning, so whilst they are sorting out the tubes can they please sort out the overground system as it’s fast becoming unfit for purpose
