End of the week

It’s 5am and I’m stood at a deserted bus stop waiting for a bus (obviously!) which will hopefully take me in the general direction of Euston to enable me to catch the train up to Cheshire. It’s pretty cold and SE London is not the best place to be at this time in the morning.

It’s been a pretty stressful week with huge amounts going on behind the scenes that has been a major destruction for the senior team. It does feel like we have made some progress both in terms of the property pipeline as well as on people with three new managers starting in the coming weeks. We have a few stores which are struggling and the decision to bringon an old colleague of mine on board to support our head of operations is starting to bear fruit.

I have a busy trip up to Cheshire as I have work to do in preparation for meetings on Monday
