I’m up bright and early as usual on a Monday as I get ready to take the train Downton London. I’m usually on the 5:21 London Midland service as its the cheapest train down on a Monday, I don’t mind the lengh of the journey as it just gives me additional admin time. I can’t say that I enjoy my epic journey back to London but it’s far better for my family to be based in leafy Nantwich than South East London so I don’t mind having to make the journey backwards and forwards.
So what does today have in store for me? Well, apart from the usual one to ones I have a chunk of the day blocked out for project work, this involves a number of conference calls and external meetings.
One of my more interesting meetings last week was with our designer as we looked at plans for our new stores, we have some great ideas and I’m very much looking forward to seeing how our customers react to them
