London was certainly busier yesterday although the mid afternoon rain did us no favours, still it was a busy day so I’m not complaining. I spent a large part of the day out in shops which is always a pleasure and something that I will be doing much more of as we come into the summer. We held our first Monday conference call which went reasonable well, it was short and sweet and I got across the points which I needed to make.
I have some one to ones today and will be looking at some potential new sites whilst I am out and about. My plan is to be in the City as I spent a large part of my day in the West End yesterday.
The debate on the national living wage rumbles on and what I can see is that suppliers are starting to announce price increases based on the increase in NLW, this is a trend that is set to continue over the coming years and from a consumers point of view this will be worrying as they will be paying a higher price for their goods.
