After what can only be described as a pretty emotional day yesterday I’m having a well deserved rest. It’s been a pretty good week overall, team member recruitment is going to plan, we have recruited another two managers so all our planned new stores are covered. The group of assistant manager which I’m mentoring are making good progress and are on track to have their own shops in the near future and we are already thinking about the next group. Our sales have picked up although the weather is not on our side, having said that our strong performance on labour and margin continues and I’m really pleased with our consistency. Finally, we had a good meeting with our property agent and we hope to be in a position to take on additional new sites in the very near future.
That’s it for today as I plan to take it easy as I’m working all day tomorrow as we start our office move.
