My work is exclusively with small businesses which means that occasionally things will be a little bumpy. Yesterday was one of those days where things went a little off track (to say the least) and I had to deal with a number of issues. If there is one thing that I have learned over the last 10 year of being in some quite senior roles is that you need to be able to take things on the chin, I try hard not too get too stressed about things outside of my control and if things do go wrong, I look back and ask myself “with the benefit of hindsight, would I have done anything differently” and if the answer to this question is “no” then I stop beating myself up and try and move on, I find that it’s one way of staying sane!

Have a great day.
