One of the most important learnings in my career is that you need a happy and united team in order to move a business forward. Having people who undermine each other and who are following their own personal agenda is never going to help a team achieve its goals. Luckily for me it been a long time since I was faced with this sort of problem but for many people it’s a real challenge and an issue which needs to be tackled head on. Manchester United are a great example of a team where individuals were not working together!
