Yesterday was a pivotal day, firstly, the events in parliament were extraordinary to say the least and secondly here at Pat Val we made a few decisions that we feel will have a positive impact on the business – for the moment that’s as far as I’m going to comment!
We also have a new head of our people team which is a huge relief as this was a department that was definitely under resourced in the past.
I am holding my second managers forum today and we have a packed agenda with lots to discuss. There has been huge change since our last meeting I’m interested to hear how everyone is feeling about things.
Finally, my day ends in Reading ready for the start of a shop tour tomorrow.
