Today is day two of my road trip and I will be heading out in an hour or so to visit some more shops in the North and Midlands. I had the opportunity to spend some quality time talking to managers yesterday which gives me the chance to understand how well some of the initiatives we have been working on have translated themselves to the teams in the front line. So far the reaction to our new menu and our staff uniforms has been positive although we still have a few areas to work on.
I’m back in Birmingham this evening where I will be getting myself ready for some quite important meetings which will take place next week.
