This is the second weekend in a row where the weather has impacted us and many other businesses. I was out and about in central London yesterday and after lunchtime the driving rain and high winds made walking around unpleasant. By the time I got to Euston station, it was pretty empty.
The teams did a great job and the we also managed to launch four new fruit tarts which sold well.
The teams that I meant were enthusiastic and engaged and for this I’m thankful as it wasn’t an easy day for them.
