Planning ahead

A large chunk of my time last week went into our business plan and cash flow analysis. Both these items were sent off on Friday and the resulting discussions have been really positive.

I’m spending part of my time today planning for next week and hopefully ensuring that I can achieve the goals which I have set far myself.

One of my priorities at the moment is to work with our product development manager to agree what the improvements to our food range will look like and as an extension of this work we will have a better understanding of what equipment will be required within our units. We have already removed the old orange juicing machines as they just took up a huge amount of room and delivered very little to the top line. Our plan is to reduce the amount of equipment which we cram into our bars and ensure that the equipment which we do include is fit for purpose. I want our food and drink offer to be high quality and easy to deliver at an affordable price.
