I’ve been away from home for two weeks so I am planning to have a relatively lazy weekend. For now, I am reflecting on the progress that the team has made over the last couple of weeks and I have to say that I am really pleased. I went into this role with a game plan that had been built from previous experience in similar situations. These turnarounds included BHS, Vital Ingredient. Patisserie Valerie and TWG Tea. Each situation may have had its own individual problems but there were many similarities I have have tried to put the things that I have learnt into practice here at AMT.
The thing that has been most pleasing is that of our 14 landlords, 13 of them have been really blown away by our plans for the future. These plans will be announced on Monday morning and I am hopeful that the AMT team will also be excited by them.
