I have a busy morning with my head of finance and after I have some admin work to plough through before heading south this evening. I’m planning some store visits on Thursday and Friday as it’s been a few weeks since I got out and about.
Also on the agenda is a review of our enterprise system as I feel that we need to upgrade our stock and ordering system as well as add in a time and attendance and labour planning module. We are looking to do this for two reasons, firstly to improve the quality of weekly management information and secondly to cut down the workload of the central team. I want to be in a position where I can add new locations without hugely expanding the central team.
