I’m working from a hotel this morning and catching up with members of the team before heading off to meet our property consultant in Cambridge. It’s going to be an interesting visit as we have yet to open one of our units here plus we have the opportunity to reopen a third unit on the far platforms. Once finished in Cambridge I will be heading over to Norwich to visit our location there. The Norwich team are doing a fantastic job and I m looking forward to meeting them.
One of the things that I have been thinking about is how much technology has changed things recently. I can spend the morning on zoom calls with my team without going anywhere near our office and to be honest we don’t plan to have a large office, just a room in a WeWork building.
My final thought for the day is to reiterate how enjoyable this project has been. It’s still very much a temporary role so I aim to enjoy every minute of it
