I spent quite a large chunk of yesterday driving from Dublin to Limerick, then into Cork and then back to Dublin. I don’t mind driving and it’s great to get out and about and meet some of the teams in these far flung units. These visits are also helpful as I start to get under the skin of the business out here which will help me put together a credible plan for its future. We have some real opportunities to grow this business but in order to do this we will need to lay some solid foundations in terms of systems and ensure that we have an Irish supply chain and a product range that reflects the tastes of the local people.
I’m out and about in Dublin today and will be spending some time with our area manager building a very simple 30/60/90 day plan
