A group of us are visiting our newest supplier today and are spending the day sampling new products. We still have a fair bit of work to do in ensuing that our product range matches our aspirations for the brand and today is a further step on that journey.
My desire is to keep the brand as simple to operate as possible and part of this is all about having a product range that is quick and easy to deliver as in most of our locations speed of service is essential. The desire for simplicity is also driven by a desire to keep staffing levels to a minimum. It’s a tough market out there and whilst the fact that we pay more than just about anyone else in our sector is a huge bonus when attempting to attract new people it’s still difficult to find people.
Finally, we are about to welcome our first Change Please trainees to the business. I have been involved with CP for 4 years as I love what they do and the idea of helping people to help themselves is something that I am really passionate about.
