My professional life alternates between helping founders grow their businesses or being involved with distressed businesses. My latest project at AMT falls very much into the latter category with the business not being in the best of places when I got involved. It’s much improved now as we have a really good team in place, we have improved the offer and have restored some confidence in the brand. There is still a long way to go and the journey will have a number of twists and turns align the way, as would any business trading in what are difficult times.
I still retain my appetite to support founders and this may well be my next project at some point in the future. I am proud of the work that I did in this area prior to joining AMT.
Finally, a key component of the work that we have done at AMT has been taking on Change Please coffee and supporting Change Please trainees. This has been such a rewarding process for all concerned
