I’m blown away as to the numbers of people who have started reading my blog. I expected a really slow start as I have been inactive for so long and I am genuinely surprised and grateful at the response.
My post on working whilst on holiday has sparked some debate which is good. To be clear, I am not advocating that people do the same as me but merely mentioning what works for me. I am an early riser so I can easily clear down emails before my family wake up. I then generally ignore my phone for the rest of the day
On a separate note, my sons table tennis career (ok, career is somewhat overstating things) saw him achieve the dizzying heights of being ranked number 5 in the UK at under ten level earlier this year along with an invitation to compete in the under 11 national championships. It would be nice if I could claim that he inherited his sporting prowess from me but that would be stretching the truth somewhat!
