Working on holiday?

I’m enjoy my return to blogging and it’s been a pleasant surprise to see how many people are reading my ramblings – thank you!

I may be on holiday but there is still a fair bit going on at work so I a, keeping in touch with my team and clearing down emails. I suspect that there are many people out there who think I’m crazy to be working on holiday but I really don’t mind it. These are the reasons why

1. I love my job so it really doesn’t feel like work

2. I am alway up early and in 45 minutes I clear down my emails which means I don’t return from a two week holiday with 500 odd emails to deal with which in turn means that I can hit the ground running on my return

3. There is always something going on at work which requires some input from me. That said, 95% of the time I trust my team to get in with things

4. I don’t spend more than an hour a day in work stuff

I don’t expect everyone to think the same way as I do but the above works for me.
