We spent an enjoyable evening with some of my mothers extended family. It was nice to meet cousins who I haven’t seen for 30 or so years and it was good for my mother to be back in the place where she grew up.
It’s generally been an enjoyable holiday although it’s coming to an end as we will be back home on Saturday evening. I’m looking forward to being back at work, refreshed and full of new ideas.
The team have done a great jobs whilst I have been away and they haven’t really needed much input from me which is always reassuring!
