Work life balance

The end of another busy week and time for a restful weekend. I have been giving a lot of thought to work life balance and have decided that my next project will be less stressful than my current one and that I plan to spend more time with my family. This doesn’t mean that I won’t give my job 100% if just means that I don’t plan to be away from home quite so much and working 13 to 15 hour days won’t be the norm. That said, I have been in a fortunate position for most of my career as I have taken on roles that I have enjoyed and have been in situations where I believe that I have learnt a lot and grown as a person. I have certainly enjoyed my work with AMT even though it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster ride as we have been attempting to turn a business around in the midst of a cost of living crisis and against a background of Covid and rail strikes.
