I’ve been a bit quite this week as I have travelled a bit for meetings and have picked up another client which I’m really pleased about as it means that I will be involved I’m starting a brand from scratch which is going to be really exciting.
This week is going to be interesting as we have a meeting with Karak Chaii’s franchise partners on Wednesday and I a, speaking at the Coffee Expo in London on the Thursday.
Ahead of that I have quite a bit of work to do on investment cases for another client as we are picking up some new units which is great. The flip side to this is that we need to ensure that the units will deliver what we expect them to.
I popped into the TWG tea outlet pm Leicester Square the other week and I was quite shocked at how it had declined. The upstairs restaurant was closed as was the cake counter and there were only two staff members working with the levels of stock looking quite low. I spent some time turning this around a few years ago and it was sad to see it looking like this. I suspect that the Covid period and it’s after effects have not done it any favours.
