Exciting times

My little consultancy practice is gearing up for an announcement on Monday which I’m really excited about. I started SBGC in 2018 when I left Vital ingredient and ran it for 9 months until I took on a short term restructuring role at TWG Tea, I then moved straight on to Patisserie Valery on a one years contract to restructure that business. I then restarted SBGC just as Covid hit the country and stopped operating it as I took on the restructuring role with AMT coffee.

So really, other that as a vehicle for my consulting work I didn’t have any real plans for SBGC as such. However, after a year of operating the business and building up a small roster of clients I have decided to expand and to see just how far I can take the business.

For the moment my focus will remain in small growing businesses and on helping founders achieve their goals but in time I do want to start working with larger hospitality businesses.

Finally, I have a busy weekend, I pick up my new car today which means that as a family we will only be driving electric cars. On top of this, we have Alex’s sporting commitments to transport him to.
