People who know me know that I have a bit of a weight problem (the problem is that I look like Jabba the Hut’s long lost brother) and that I have tried to do something about it with mixed results. So now it’s time for some drastic action, I’m going into a clinic this morning to have a gastric balloon fitted. This is literally a balloon which will sit in my stomach and which will be filled with water and therefore will make me feel less hungry and less able to stuff my face.
The balloon will remain in place for circa 16 weeks before dissolving and the idea is that after it vanishes you stick to healthier eating habits
I’m hoping that this is the much required kick in the butt which will motivate me to do something about my weight as whilst I like eating, I don’t enjoy looking like Mr Blobby.
Work wise, I’ve got some stuff done this morning and will be hopefully working on some items for a client this afternoon
