I’m am taking a couple of days off as my Alfa 6 will be in display at the Classic Car show at the NEC this weekend. It’s on the Alfa Owners Club stand and I’m going to be spending my time discussing all things Alfa plus admiring lots of gorgeous classic cars. Its not a complete holiday as I have lots of admin to catch up on which I plan to do in my spare time in the coming days.
My cars is quite interesting as it’s a 1979 Alfa 6 series 1 with a 2.5 litre engine and 6 carbs. Later models (very sensibly) had fuel injection, it was originally registered in Germany and then imported into the UK by its previous owner. It’s one of only 3 cars still registered in the UK.
Commercially it was a flop with only 12k units produced over a 7 year life span.
