2023 was an ok year. My consultancy acquired a number of clients and allows me to make a decent living whilst doing what I enjoyed. With several of my clients I have become part of the team which has made a huge difference to my effectiveness and the range of clients which I have been involved with has made my job interesting. Towards the end of the year I have added three associates and I’m proud that I have found work for them already.
So what’s the plan for 2024? Firstly a new, more professional looking website and a B2B marketing push to attract more clients to the practice. I would love to take on one more associate with a financial background which would complement the range of skills covered by the team. Whilst SBGC still plans to focus on growing businesses and working with founders I would like to be involved with distressed businesses again as myself and one of the team have a fair amount of experience in this area.
