Admin day

I still manage one day a week working from home and I have to confess to taking it slightly easier on a Tuesday, I don’t feel too guilty as on a Wednesday I get up at the crack of dawn to drive to London and my last meeting of the day starts at 8pm……

Thursday and Friday are equally long days

Yesterday was quote productive, had a great meeting with a PR agency for one of our brands and spent time looking at virtual brands to help drive sales in an outlet. This is quite a tricky process as the margins are quite thin and you need to be very careful how you deploy labour.

One of our other brands is about to take its first steps on a journey with Deliveroo, I’m not whole enthusiastic about this as I don’t think that delivery will work for the brand but I am more than happy to help them give it a try and see where it takes them.
