Meeting one of my clients today in Denton which is 45 miles from my house, virtually all of those miles are on motorways yet it still took me 90 minutes to get here!
Leaving aside the traffic (best I do so or else I would moan for ages about it) today’s meeting will be a good one as we have finally managed to turn this business around and this month looks like a profitable one for my client. It’s not been an easy journey and I don’t see the road ahead being much easier but it’s good to celebrate a small win.
The rest of my day has the delights of a trip to Bolton before heading home to then take my son to football training. It’s nice to be able to spend time with him as these days that’s a very rare commodity.
