Visa and other stuff

Yesterday was quite full on. It took forever to drive to London as the traffic was just awful but I managed to get to my visa appointment in good time. It was quite an involved process with a fairly comprehensive medical exam and blood tests. I won’t know until Thursday or Friday if the visa is actually going to be granted so I have my fingers crossed!
The rest of the day was spent catching up with old work colleagues which was lovely. It was interesting to hear how my old company was faring now that they have a new CEO and to be honest things are going pretty much as I thought they would and it seems like there are going to be anxious times ahead for he people working there.
It was lovely to be back in London despite the rain and I have missed living here.

Today I have a marketing event to attend which kicks off at 8am hence the early start.

Finally, my little boy has started to walk. He’s not exactly steady on his feet but he is slowly getting there.
