More Food

Here at BHS we have an audacious goal, we plan to completely revise our food range by the end of September. It’s in September that I feel we will be able to deliver on our commitment to provide traditional, tasty food using great fresh ingredients and selling it at a great price. The sandwiches which I blogged about yesterday are only the start of a quiet “revolution” in our Restaurants, Cafe’s and Coffee Shops.

I was in Wolverhampton yesterday and was really impressed at the quality of coffee which the team were producing after only three weeks training, I saw well textured milk and fantastically well assembled drinks – keep it up guys!

After a week that can only be described as both stressful and rewarding we are having a quite weekend and today are heading to one of our favourite places which is Whitstable and taking time to catch up with some friends who are fortunate enough to live there, that’s after visiting the Whitstable Oyster Factory restaurant which I highly recommend.

I fell in love with this place years ago and if you like fresh fish it’s well worth a visit.

The Whistable Oyster bar has been one of my favourites since the mid-90’s, and i tend to re-visit every few years. The menu’s much the same (native oysters of course being their staple), though the cinema upstairs has long gone, and it’s lost a little of that authentic rustic charm. It still excites me though. Happy you enjoy the place too!
