It was a funny old year. Work wise, trying to turn things around at BHS has been exhausting to say the least, having said that I am proud of how we have improved the food offer and given our colleagues some of their pride back. I remain convinced that we are on the right track and that with continued hard work 2015 will be a decent year.
On the home front I feel that I have spent too much time away from my family and I plan to remedy this in the coming year. I’ve driven way too many miles and spent way too much time in hotels and whilst I love to travel, see different places and meet new people the constant travel has taken its toll.
On a personal note, the last year has been a real education, I feel that I have grown as both a leader and as a person and the thanks for this has to go to the incredible people which whom I have had the pleasure to work alongside.
So in summary, 2014 was a bit of a mixed bag but I have very few regrets.
