After 4 pretty crazy days I’m taking a little time out to recharge. I’ve really enjoyed my first few days, everyone has been really welcoming and friendly and I get a sense that people really want to go out and make a difference.
My challenges are in coming up with a credible strategic plan and ensuring that the pace of change is appropriate, I learned some valuable lessons at BHS about the pace of change and I don’t plan to repeat past mistakes. My time in Egypt gave me a great insight into how things work in this part of the world and the insight will prove to be invaluable.
Anyway, back to my time out! I’ve added a couple of photographs of the beach as a treat for you….
