The last few weeks have been pretty crazy and today is not going to be an exception, my day will start with some store visits prior to a meeting with my head of operations. I then have further meetings before ending the day in my first team leader development group, this consists of some of the brightest and most talented team leaders who we feel have the ability to become general managers. My role is to mentor them and help them fulfil their potential. I really enjoy doing this such as this as it helps me to really get to know some of my colleagues in our shops and more importantly if I can get this group to start inking differently about their stores and their role within those stores then this will help take the business forward.
Over the last week or so we have been busy looking at properties as we are close to being ready to increase the number of Vitals in central number, the plan is to open around five more stores next year which is going to take a lot of work, the work involved is not just around the new store openings but in taking the steps to ensure that these new openings do not adversely impact the rest of the business.
