Why do I do this

Obviously, as well as posting this blog on to my own, various social media sites it goes out onto Vital’s official Twitter site and I expect more than a few of our followers have asked themselves what this personal blog is doing cluttering up Vital’s Twitter feed.

The idea behind this blog is to provide a behind the scenes look at all things Vital and hopefully give its readers a flavour of how the brand operates on a day to day basis, to be honest it’s also a way of engaging people win our industry and in the past I have recruited people who were introduced Vital via this blog. Obviously this blog is quite sanitised as there are quite a lot of things that it would not be appropriate to talk about and I don’t name individuals within our organisation.

Going forward I plan to look at possibly branding this blog a little more so it doesn’t just look like some random person posting on Vital’s social media sites, I will keep you posted.

Interesting to see the MD taking the responsibility of engaging customers. My parents used to engage with customers, back then they spoke face to face. I learned to socialise!

I think the world has moved on somewhat (good and bad), customers are connecting to more business via social media. This is supposed to get the best reach?

But through the social chatter can a business really define it self and actually connect with a customer? The truth is out there.

Thanks for the comment James, I’ve been blogging in this way for many years and really enjoy telling the inside story, I also personally respond to any customer complaints as it’s an opportunity to turn someone into a brand advocate
