Lot’s going on within the world of Vital at the moment with a couple of projects close to culminating. There is a huge sense of optimism about the office and within our stores as we are starting to see the hard work of the last ten months bear fruit and with a couple more months of dedicated team work we will be in a great place for the start of our busiest trading period. It’s fantastic to see that our success has been built upon solid foundations which means (hopefully) that the fixes which we have put into place will be sustainable ones.
Finally, regular readers of this blog will know that I spent close to 18 months with BHS, it was a great company to work for and I met many wonderfully passionate people who had dedicated their working lives to what has become a British institution. For their sake I wish Darren and the senior team the best of luck with their attempts to get the business back onto a sound footing as they have some exciting plans which given time we’ll help restore the fortunes of a much loved brand.
